Prairie State Criterium Race 2013
This July 2013 we'll the Prairie State Series will return
to St. Charles! We'll be the premiere event of the series with top riders from around the nation competing! Want to learn more, you'll have to check back in February 2013!
Sammy's Chicago Club Fondo 2013
It’s time to dream of getting out on the road again. John Rutkowski has taken over Ride Planning. If you are interested in being a ride leader, please let him know at John@ongo-industries.com. Also, the first Sammy’s Chicago Ride will take place Sunday, May 5th. We will ride from St. Charles to Chicago early Sunday morning, hang out and eat at the harbor near North Avenue and then return home via train while the SAG wagon takes the bikes home. More details to follow, but get the date on your calendar!
Prairie State Criterium Race 2012

On Sunday, July 29th Sammy's Bikes and Sammy's Cycling Club held the first annual Prairie State Cycling Series Criterium right in downtown St. Charles. Thousands turned out to see the action.

Our Mission
Sammy’s Cycling Club can be whatever you, the member, want it to be. We focus on introducing the cyclist to new and interesting places to ride, history, new cultures, cycling advocacy, social interaction and activities, training, and safe cycling instruction. We offer monthly meetings with guest speakers, tech tips, discussion forums and socializing with like-minded cycling friends.

Well planned, member-led rides throughout the year. Destination weekend rides to some of our favorite places including Chicago, Wisconsin & Western Illinois with SAG Wagons. Plus enjoy our annual All-Class and Newcomers Rides –where lunch is on the house. Monthly Club meetings featuring presentations from cycling industry experts. Discounts at Sammy’s Bike Shop, on select merchandise and services. Access to a large and valuable ride library. Opportunity to socialize with members at club picnics, social outings, outdoor events and much, much more.
Even if you're not a current member, we encourage you to attend our monthly general meeting to find out what it's about, and meet some great people. We also have a wide range of opportunities to get more involved with the Club. You can help develop the ride calendar for the year, plan monthly meetings, do publicity for the club, or assist in other ways. We welcome participation in the Steering Committee to make decisions that affect how the Club functions.
Join Sammy's Cycling Club
Membership has its benefits, and we encourage you to join us! Annual membership for adults is only $25, while a family membership is $40. We also have special rates for students and seniors of $15.
